City of Perth Twilight Hawkers Markets

Friday nights in the city are set to spice up as the City of Perth launches the summer series of the Twilight Hawkers Markets in Forrest Place.

Kicking off on Friday 28 October (Queen’s Birthday Public Holiday), the Markets will take place every Friday evening between 5pm – 8pm until March 2012, taking a short break for a few weeks over the Christmas period when other events will use the space.

Taking advantage of our famous summer climate, the Twilight Hawkers Markets will offer visitors to the city the chance to meander through rows of market stalls sampling cuisine from around the globe including Indonesian satays, Spanish paella, Turkish gozlemes, Moroccan tagines and more.

In addition to international street-vendor style foods, visitors to the Markets will be able to kick back and enjoy free live music and roving entertainment.
