Budgie at the Fly By Night

Welsh Rock/Metal band BUDGIE are returning to Australia for their second tour.

With Burke Shelley on Bass & Vocals, Steve Williams on drums and long time friend DIO’s talented axeman Craig Goldy on guitars this is the “must see” show in 2009 for lovers of power rock.

The raw energy of this band was a catalyst for the U.K. classic rock/metal scene in the early 70‘s.

Their many fans include musicians who have covered their songs like Metallica (Breadfan, Crash Course), Soundgarden (Homicidal Suicidal), Iron Maiden (I Can‘t See My Feelings) & Van Halen (In For The Kill).

Budgie will playing in Fremantle for only one show on Thursday 12th November 2009 and will be ably supported by Australian guitar legend Phil Emmanuel who will be playing his full set as Special Guest artist.

The evening will kick-off with talented young locals 'The Creptter Children' for what promises to be a top night with over 3 solid hours of rock, blues & metal.
