Budgie at the Charles Hotel

Welsh/Rock Metal band Budgie are returning to Australia for their second tour.

With Burke Shelley on bass and vocals, Steve Williams on drums and long time friend DIO's talented axeman Craig Goldy on guitars this is the "must see" show in 2009 for lovers of power rock. The raw energy of this band was a catalyst for the U.K. classic rock/metal scene in the early 70's.

Supported by Australian guitar legend Phil Emmanuel who will be playing his full set as Special Guest artist.

The evening will kick-off at 7:00pm for the opening night of the 2009 Budgie Australian tour with WAMi award winning locals The Floors starting the show for what promises to be a top night with over 3 solid hours of rock, blues and metal.
