Araluen's Fremantle Chilli Festival

This award-winning festival has grown to now rank as one of Western Australia's major cultural events. The success of this event has seen it out grow Araluen as a venue and we see the move to Fremantle as very positive and exciting.
The Festival is a celebration of everything Chilli from fresh foods,plants, pikles, chutneys, olives, cheese, chocolate, wine, beers and much, much more. Our celebrity chef Dale Sniffen will be demonstrating cooking with a varity of chillies and herbs all weekend and giving people an opportunity to taste test the food.
A non stop entertainment program will feature the following:
Saturday - Funkalleros, So Brazil, ZARM, Shangara Jive and Ziggy New Generation. Roving amongst the crowd will be the Sambanistas
Sunday - Sabroson, Kolo Yedi, Dunumba and The Australian Santana Experience. Roving amongst the crowd will be Shangara Jive Percussion.

Entry ticket sales - cash and EFTPOS facilities available. Adults $15, School aged child (5 - 15) $8, Family Pass $40 (2 adults and up to six children)
Avoid the queue - pre-book your tickets - Phone 9496 1171 Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
2 x First Aid stations within the festival area
Water will be freely available from 2 mobile drinking fountain trailers
Don't forget sunscreen and hat
Avoid parking issues by using public transport. The Esplanade is a very short walk from the Fremantle Train Station
Strictly no BYO ALCOHOL
Alcohol can only be consumed within the Liquor Licence area. Security will check ID on entry to this area.
