Davies last performed stand up during a sell-out season at the 2001 Edinburgh Festival. In the ten years since he has worked regularly as an actor on both the stage and television, as well as releasing his first book, the autobiographical 'My Favourite People and Me, 1978-88' in 2009. He is best known for starring in the television mystery series 'Jonathon Creek' and as the permanent panellist on the panel show 'QI.' Davies is currently working on a short film for SKY TV in the UK.
